Happy summer! Feliz verano! I hope that you are all enjoying your summer! It won't be long until we're back at JES, so I hope you're caught up on your summer reading....
The purpose of this blog is to allow parents and students to discuss their thoughts about the books selected for summer reading. Maybe you want to discuss what you liked about the books, other suggestions for reading, or set up book talks in your neighborhood. Whatever the plan, I hope that you will use this space to begin discussing the assigned books. Remember, there will be several different discussions because each grade level has been assigned different books. However, that does not mean that you are limited to discussing solely the books from your or your child's grade level. Let's get started!
